Who We Are
Central Kids is a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn about God, build friendships, and grow in their faith.
We love having children as part of our church whānau and are passionate about creating spaces where they feel known, valued, and excited to come each week.
What to Expect
On Sundays, children begin in the main service with their families, joining in our time of worship together.
Partway through the service, children are invited to head out to Central Kids, where they take part in a programme designed especially for their age and stage.
Each week includes:
Fun and engaging activities
Bible-based teaching in a way kids can understand
Games, creativity, and connection
Leaders who genuinely care about each child
Our Programmes
We run three age-specific environments to ensure every child is cared for and engaged at the right level:
Primary (Ages 5–10)
A fun and interactive programme where kids learn about God through stories, discussion, and activities.
10 Ups (Ages 10–12)
A space designed for older kids to explore faith more deeply, build friendships, and prepare for the transition into youth.
Safe + Supported
Your child’s safety and wellbeing are a top priority for us.
All of our leaders are carefully selected, trained, and police-vetted. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where every child can thrive.
Meet Our Kids Pastor
Tim leads Central Kids with a heart to see children come to know Jesus in a way that is real, accessible, and meaningful. He is passionate about creating environments where kids feel safe, have fun, and begin to build a strong foundation of faith from an early age.
Parents Lounge
For parents and caregivers with babies, we have a dedicated Parents Lounge available during the service.
This space includes:
A live stream of the service
Changing facilities
A comfortable, welcoming environment for you and your child
